Diabetes retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is caused by high blood sugar levels which damages the back of the eye (retina). This can lead to blindness if its left undiagnosed and untreated.  Gradually worsening vision, sudden vision loss, floaters, patchy vision, eye pain and redness are the symptoms of diabetic retinopathy.
