Gestational diabetes

Gestational diabetes is the condition in which women without suffering from diabetes develops high blood sugar during pregnancy which is also caused by not having enough insulin in the setting of insulin resistance.  If not treated then babies born to mothers are at high risk having low blood sugar, being too large and jaundice.
