Anti-Diabetic medication

There are different types of anti-diabetic medication that treat diabetes by bringing down the glucose levels in the human blood and their choice relies upon the kind of diabetes, age and situation of the person, and different variables.  All medications are regulated orally and are called oral hypoglycaemic agents and oral antihyperglycemic agents.

  • Regular insulin
  • Insulin aspart
  • Insulin isophane
  • Miglitol
  • Biguanides
  • Bromocriptine
  • Thiazolidinediones
  • Sodium glucose transporter inhibitors
  • Sulfonylureas
  • Aspirin
